Comprehensive Eye Tests
During this exam, our optometrists perform a thorough assessment, to not only check your prescription but also monitor for any changes to the health of your eyes. This exam also screens for Glaucoma, Cataracts, Macular Degeneration, etc.
We recommend a Comprehensive Exam every two years if you are under 65, but can be done yearly if you are over 65 or have any pre-existing eye condition.
Contact Lens Checks & Fittings
Contact lenses are a great choice for people who play sports, who have certain eye conditions like keratoconus- or those who simply don't like wearing glasses!
Fancy a change? Give us a call or book in for an eye exam to see if your prescription is suitable.
Would you like a new pair of spectacles? If it's been less than 2 years since your last eye exam or are under the care of an ophthalmologist and you have noticed your spectacles aren't as good as they used to be we recommend you book in for a checkup.
Diabetic Eye Exam
If you live with diabetes, macular degeneration or glaucoma, it is important to have a yearly exam to detect and monitor any changes.
Similar to our 360 consultation, this exam will include retinal photos but usually includes eye drops to dilate the pupils. A diabetic check can take up to an hour.
Digital Retinal Images
Digital Retinal Images are high-resolution images taken of the back of the eye to monitor for changes.
They are used in the detection & monitoring of eye diseases such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetes, Cataracts & more.
Optical Coherence Tomography
Optical Coherence Tomography is a non-invasive imaging technique used to create an incredibly detailed 3D image of your retina. An OCT scan is similar to Digital Retinal Imaging, but gives us a much more detailed picture of your retina- and in turn, your eye health.
An OCT exam aids in the detection and monitoring of serious eye conditions such as Macular Degeneration, Macula Oedema, Glaucoma and other neurological eye conditions.
